Jump to the Point is a Chrome extension that finds the moment a YouTube video delivers what its title promised. It has no account and no servers of its own, and it collects nothing about you.
What stays on your computer
Your settings, how many free jumps you've used and your licence key are kept in Chrome's own storage. The extension reads the video page you're watching (title, chapters, captions and top comments) inside your browser. None of it is sent to us.
Who it talks to
- YouTube, for the video's chapters, captions and comments, the same way the YouTube page itself does.
- SponsorBlock (sponsor.ajay.app), a public community database of video highlights. Only the first four characters of a scrambled code made from the video's ID are sent, so SponsorBlock can't tell which video you're watching.
- Gumroad, only if you turn on Pro, to check that your licence key is genuine.
- This website, to read a small file with the current price and free allowance.
What we never do
No tracking, no analytics, no ads, no selling or sharing of data, no reading of other websites.
